By Donation from your Will
An important part of our fundraising is by donations from Wills, which is Inheritance Tax free. There are two basic ways of donating in this way, either by legacy or residue. The following is an example of how a legacy can be worded:
I give the sum (in words and figures) to the Peterborough Cancer Treatment Appeal, Charities Registration Number 1106883.
The PCTA strongly recommends that you consult your solicitor when drawing up your will.
If you do not have a solicitor one of the PCTA’s supporters is Hunt and Coombs Solicitors whom you may wish to consider when drawing up your Will.
Gift Aid Your Donation
If you are a UK tax payer and would like the PCTA to claim Gift Aid on your donation, please download the PDF form below and return it via email to admin@cta-peterborough.com.
Gift Aid means that the PCTA can claim back the tax from the Inland Revenue, which is currently 25p for every £1 you give.
